Default loading, and how to say no

On a first visit, before you click anything, the page starts Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity and Adsterra (Native Banner and Social Bar). The banner is a notice with two buttons, not a gate: Accept keeps the default, Reject switches analytics, session replay and ads off. The choice is written to local storage under cleanthemoon-consent for 180 days, so a Reject survives a reload and a new tab. Cookie settings in the footer reopens the banner and lets you change the choice at any time. If the browser sends Global Privacy Control, the site treats that as Reject before it creates any tag.

Reject records your choice and reloads the page, ending the existing Clarity and Adsterra script execution and keeping their tags and GA4 off on later visits. Requests already sent before Reject cannot be recalled. The site's own loaders read the stored choice before creating asynchronous third-party tags.

Google Analytics 4

• What it is: Google Analytics 4, measurement ID G-B9PH267C3R (property website_311_gameinfo_cleanthemoon.com), loaded from www.googletagmanager.com, with collection requests to www.google-analytics.com. It counts page views and records the page path, referrer, approximate location derived from the IP, browser, device type and language, plus events such as outbound clicks.
• Cookies: _ga and _ga_B9PH267C3R, set on cleanthemoon.com, kept for up to 2 years. Google may also set its own identifiers on google-analytics.com. The site does not send names, email addresses or message contents to GA4.
• Retention: event-data retention depends on this property's configuration; the configured period was not established for this review. Google's policy is https://policies.google.com/privacy.
• Loading choice: GA4 loads by default unless Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track is enabled. The local choice is granted before a button is pressed; Reject turns collection off and prevents the analytics loader on later visits.
• Opt out: the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, or Reject here.

Microsoft Clarity

• What it is: Microsoft Clarity project z7a3xi0abq, loaded from https://www.clarity.ms/tag/z7a3xi0abq and scripts.clarity.ms, with collection requests to clarity.ms subdomains (including a.clarity.ms, g.clarity.ms, i.clarity.ms, k.clarity.ms, l.clarity.ms, n.clarity.ms, o.clarity.ms, q.clarity.ms and t.clarity.ms in this review). It records heatmaps and session replays: clicks, scroll depth, pointer movement and a masked view of the page, plus the page URL, browser and device. Clarity applies its masking settings to recorded page content; this guide has no login, payment or reader-profile forms.
• Cookies: _clck (kept up to 1 year) and _clsk (kept up to 1 day), set on cleanthemoon.com, plus CLID and MUID set by Microsoft on clarity.ms and microsoft.com. Clarity may also use local storage and session storage for the replay session.
• Retention: recording and aggregate-data retention depend on Microsoft Clarity settings and its policy at https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/privacy/privacystatement; the project-specific setting was not established for this review.
• Loading choice: Clarity loads by default; Reject ends the current page session and prevents the tag on subsequent page loads.
• Opt out: Reject here, or use Microsoft privacy controls at https://account.microsoft.com/privacy.

Adsterra advertising

• What it is: Adsterra, publisher account 3403020, website 6169289. Two units are installed: Native Banner (NativeBanner_1, unit 32050802) in the slot above the footer, and Social Bar (SocialBar_1, unit 32050803), the fixed bar at the bottom-right. Adult ads are switched off for this website. The two installed scripts come from https://bicea.org. Advertising creatives may use additional delivery domains selected by the network; this review observed bicea.org on initial page loads.
• Cookies: Adsterra and its creative hosts may set delivery, frequency-cap, click-measurement and fraud-prevention cookies on bicea.org, adsterra.com and their creative domains. Those names and lifetimes are chosen by the network; this review did not establish them. See https://adsterra.com/privacy-policy/.
• Retention: the network keeps its own logs under its policy; this site keeps no ad data of its own. The Social Bar close state is stored only in your browser, under the local-storage key ctm-adbar-closed.
• Loading choice: both Adsterra units load by default. Reject ends the current page session and prevents these ad tags on subsequent page loads.

YouTube

A video appears as a poster image with a play button. The YouTube player, https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/, is not requested until you press play. After that, YouTube and Google may set cookies such as VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE, YSC and PREF, and may record the play. Their retention and controls are described at https://policies.google.com/privacy. The poster image itself is a file on this site, so the page makes no YouTube request before the click. Reject reloads the page, closing any player already opened; you can choose to play a video again afterward.

The keys this site stores

Site code stores the choice in local storage. Analytics libraries can set first-party cookies on this domain, including _ga, _clck and _clsk; provider domains can also set third-party cookies as described above. The 180-day period is the lifetime of the choice record, not the lifetime of every vendor cookie.

Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track

If the browser exposes Global Privacy Control, the site treats it as Reject immediately, does not wait for a click and does not create the analytics, replay or ad tags. A Do Not Track header is also read as a rejection. The controls that change the stored choice are Global Privacy Control, the Reject button and Cookie settings.

Your choices and rights

• Reject or Accept from the banner, or reopen it with Cookie settings in the footer.
• Clear site data for cleanthemoon.com to delete cleanthemoon-consent and ctm-adbar-closed.
• Ask for a copy, a correction or deletion of mail you sent, via [email protected]. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Mail

If you email [email protected], the message contains whatever you put in it, including your address. The mailbox is used to answer and to correct a page. The working copy is deleted after the correction is handled. Do not send account passwords or Roblox session secrets.

Children

The guide has no reader account system and does not ask for a date of birth. Analytics and advertising providers process data as described above. Roblox and Steam accounts are governed by those platforms. If a parent believes a child emailed this site, write to [email protected] and the message will be deleted.

Changes

When a third-party script is added or removed, this page gains or loses a named section for it and the date at the top moves with that edit. The date on this page is 2 Nov 2026.
